This U.S. Privacy Notice (“Notice”) is provided by Rana Meal Solutions, LLC, its parent Rana USA, Inc. and their corporate affiliates in the U.S. (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) supplements and is expressly made part of the information contained in the Company’s Privacy Policy and applies solely to those who are Consumers (“you” or “consumers”) as defined in U.S. privacy laws. We adopt this Notice in compliance with the Colorado Privacy Act, Connecticut Data Privacy Act, Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act, Iowa Consumer Data Protection Act, Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act, Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act, Nebraska Data Privacy Act, New Hampshire Privacy Act, New Jersey Data Privacy Act, Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, Tennessee Information Protection Act, Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Utah Consumer Privacy Act, and Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act. SCOPE

This Notice supplements the information contained in our Privacy Policy and applies solely to residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah, or Virginia. As a Consumer, you have certain rights regarding your Personal Information (“Personal Information”). The Company respects and will honor the rights bestowed upon you by the U.S. Privacy Laws. Our Privacy Policy provides you with information on how the Company collects, uses, discloses, and shares personal information. This Privacy Notice outlines the rights you have regarding Personal Information that we collect from you and describes how you can exercise those rights.

We disclose personal information to our service providers and contractors, as described in this Privacy Policy

We do not and will not sell the Personal Information of consumers. In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have not sold Personal Information.

 
 

YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

This Notice is for people living in the United States and supplements our U.S. Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and disclose your Personal Information.

This Notice describes your privacy rights and how to exercise your rights under the U.S. Privacy Laws. If you are a resident of a state that has laws that govern our processing of your Personal Information, you may have certain rights, as provided under the state law applicable to you, subject to certain exemptions, which may include the:

  • Right to Know (All Listed States): The right to request that we disclose to you the Personal Information that we collected or disclosed about you including:
    • The categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you;
    • The categories of the sources of the Personal Information;
    • The purposes for which your Personal Information is collected and used;
    • The categories of Personal Information that the business disclosed for a business purpose, and for each category identified, the categories of third parties to whom that particular category of Personal Information was disclosed; and
    • The categories of Personal Information that the business sold or shared, and for each category identified, the categories of third parties to whom that particular category of Personal Information was sold or shared.
  • Right to Access/Data Portability (All Listed States): Access, request and receive, up to twice every 12 months, a portable copy of the Personal Information that we have collected about you in the last 12 months.;
  • Right to Correct (All Listed States Except UT and IA): The right to request that we correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information that we maintain about you.;
  • Right to Request Deletion (All Listed States): The right to request that we delete or erase Personal Information we have collected about you, subject to certain exemptions.;
  • Right to Opt-In for Sensitive Data Processing (CO, CT, DE, MO, MT, NH, NJ, OR, TN, TX and VA): The right to opt-in for the use of sensitive Personal Information, which may include race, ethnicity, precise geolocation data, minor information, and certain health data.;
  • Right to Opt-Out of Automated Decision Making (All Listed States – except UT residents, who do not have the right to opt out of automated decision making and IA residents, who do not have the right to opt out of profiling or automated decision making): The right to opt-out of or object to having your Personal Information sold to, or shared with, third parties for the purposes of targeted advertising or to process your personal data for profiling or automated decision making in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you;
  • Right to Non-Discrimination (All Listed States): The right not to be discriminated against by us for exercising any of these rights.; and
  • Right to Appeal (All Listed States): The right to submit an appeal if your request is denied.
 
 

EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS

You or your authorized agent may submit a request to exercise your rights by emailing us at  with the subject “U.S. Privacy Right Request” or filling out the U.S. Privacy Consumer request form, please click here. For your security and to ensure unauthorized third parties do not access your Personal Information, we will require you to verify your identity before we can act on your request. The verifiable consumer request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify either: (A) your identity; or (B) authority to make the request. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us, but we must also be able to confirm the personal information relates to you. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request. We match the information you provide in the process of making the request to the information we have retained to verify the request.

If you wish to submit a verifiable consumer request on behalf of another individual we will also need sufficient information to verify that the individual is the person about whom we collected personal information and that you are authorized to submit the request on their behalf. Please see the “Authorized Agents” section below for more information.

In certain circumstances, we may decline a request to exercise the rights described above, in accordance with applicable law.

Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your request (and will not be made more than twice in a 12-month period). If we cannot comply with a request, or cannot fully comply with a request, the response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply.

 
 

RESPONSE TIMING AND FORMAT

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option.

 
 

AUTHORIZED AGENTS

If you are a resident of a state that has laws that govern our processing of your Personal Information and would like to designate an authorized agent to submit certain requests on your behalf, or if you are an authorized agent of an individual with the right to submit certain requests via an authorized agent and would like to submit a request on behalf of that individual, please send an email to the following email address:

If you are the resident, in order for an authorized agent to be verified, you must provide the authorized agent with signed, written permission to make such request. We may also follow up with you to verify your identity before processing the authorized agent’s request. If you are the authorized agent, after you submit the request, and if the request is not subject to an exemption or exception, we will require additional information to verify the identity of the resident, as well as your authority to act on behalf of the resident.

 
 

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY NOTICE

We reserve the right to amend this Notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this Notice, we will post the updated Notice on the Websites and update the Notice’s effective date. Your continued use of our Websites following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
